hk pools is one of the most popular public swimming pool complexes in Hong Kong. Located in Tsim Sha Tsui, this facility has four indoor heated pools, including an Olympic-sized main pool and two training pools, as well as several outdoor leisure pools. It is also the only venue in Kowloon suitable for staging major international swimming events. It attracts thousands of swimmers daily, especially during peak season.
The pool’s layout is great for families, with a large leisure pool area that includes water slides and fountains for kids of all ages. In addition, there are plenty of lounge chairs and cabanas to soak up the sun, as well as an outer ’dry area’ where you can store your bag and towels. The water is a good temperature, too, from about ten to sixty centimeters deep, which makes it ideal for kids of all ages. The changing rooms are very spacious and clean, with lots of benches, lockers, and private changing cubicles.
This isn’t the best pool for serious swimmers, as it’s a bit small, but it has lots of fun for families and teens. It’s also the only pool in the city with a wave pool, which is sure to be a hit with the kids. The pool also has a waterfall at the shallow end and a Jacuzzi, so it’s the perfect spot for a relaxing day out in the sun.
The pool is free to enter on the weekends and bank holidays, but on weekdays the price drops to HK$19 for adults and HK$9 for children. Only cotton or synthetic fiber swim suits are allowed, but you can rent a life jacket for HK$10. There are also snack bars and lounge chairs available on site. The only downside is that the location is a bit out of the way, as it’s located between Causeway Bay and Wan Chai. But it’s worth a trip if you’re looking for something new and exciting to do with the family.
