The HK Prize and the HK Global Development Prize
The prize money at hong kong pool has increased by around 90% over the past 10 years, but some say it still falls short. Nevertheless, the Club is determined to continue improving its prize structure by increasing the number of Group 1 races, introducing more bonus structures, and boosting the amount of money awarded across all 88 fixtures next season.
The HK Global Development Prize is an opportunity for individuals and organizations to contribute to Hong Kong’s international development efforts and shape its role on the global stage. By participating in this competition, you will have the chance to win a share of a HK$5,000 award to help support your projects!

The Hong Kong art community is excited to see so many of its members make the shortlist this year, and two-thirds of those are women, the highest proportion to date. The shortlisted artists will showcase their works at the exhibition at M+, which opens in September next year. The Sigg Prize jury will reconvene in December to name the winning artist, who will be awarded a HK$500,000 prize fund. To ensure the fairness of the draw, employees from HKJC’s security and customer service departments will inspect the materials used in the draw, including boxes and balls, on a regular basis. The draw machine is also X-rayed and locked in a secure location after each draw. In addition, the results of the draws are verified on a daily basis. All these measures are in place to ensure the integrity of the Prize. For more information, visit the official website. You can also subscribe to the prize newsletter.
